  • My Compassion (Account Management Website)

    I worked closely with our team lead and web designer to develop a lot of the main areas of the website and data population. I took over the main development responsibilities after the site framework was in place and the initial design and some of the functionality of the website was in place and was able to develop the rest of the website functionality along side of the designer. My main areas of focus were the child letter writing tool and transitioning our data population methods from the old…

  • Ecommerce Payment System Overhaul

    As the subject matter expert for the ecommerce system and payment provider integration, I worked with our team to architect and develop a solution to change our back-end systems over to using a different payment provider. We developed a solution on time and on budget that maintained our PCI-compliance and exceeded our security requirements.
    We successfully launched this overhaul of our payment systems in the middle of our busiest time of year with minimal downtime and with very few tweaks…

    As the systems developer, I was responsible for the development of the payment system integration and internal API, as well as developing the e-commerce and letter writing front-end portions of the website with input from the the designer and project manager.

  • Integrated Utility Management System

    -

    We worked with a utilities company in the caribbean to redevelop their existing billing system that ran on older AS/400 systems to run on brand new servers as a web-based system using HTML, Javascript, PHP, and MSSQL. Since they didn't want to have to re-train all of their staff, they requested that the system looked and functioned almost identically to their old AS/400 based system with some new abilities.
